Review: belif the true cream – aqua and moisturizing bomb

belif

Hello friends! Today I have an exciting post on the Korean skincare brand, belif. After a recent trip to THEFACESHOP, I got a foil packet of the true cream – aqua bomb. The sample left such an impression on me that I immediately started looking into the brand. I received two true creams, the aqua bomb and the moisturzing bomb to try out. Can’t wait to share what I think!

About the Brand

belif is definitely a brand with chops. It is one of the most popular skincare brands in Korea. Their main mantras are “Real, Simple and Sincere”. They try and keep their packaging and marketing clean and crisp to maintain focus on the product inside. belif utilizes herbal processing techniques to make sure that their items contain the right ingredients for your skin. The efficacy of the products aren’t over exaggerated and they let their products speak for themselves.

The brand has eye creams, face creams, serums and more!

Aqua Bomb and Moisture Bomb

Even though I have oily-combo skin, I’ve noticed my skin and face in general have been really craving moisture. I was excited to try both of these face creams out to see if they would really make a difference in my skin.

The aqua bomb has a gel formula that feels super cooling on the face. I’ve been using this as my daily moisturizer and love it. Its claim is to increase moisture levels by 18%. I can’t quite confirm this very specific clinical trial claim, but I can say that my face has felt very refreshed and moisturized after use. The best part is that I do not feel oily or greasy after using this. It sinks right and and leaves a great base for makeup.

The moisturizing bomb is a more traditional white cream for the face. Its claim is that its supposed to help retain moisture for up to 26 hours. This is a thicker cream than the aqua bomb so I’ve been mostly using this at night. I have used this as a day cream though and its performed just as well as the aqua bomb for me. I was scared that since it’s a bit of a thicker cream that my skin would get super greasy but it didn’t! My skin felt moisturized without the slick.

Both of these have a very light scent which is extremely pleasant. I almost equate it to a ‘spa’ like smell. It’s almost like putting on a facial! I also really like the packaging of these. The simple jars are very appealing and the lids are very easy to open.

All in all, I highly recommend these creams. I don’t have super dry facial skin, but what I loved about these was that it didn’t add extra oil to my skin. They felt refreshing and moisturzing! I’m definitely looking forward to trying more from the brand!

You can find belif at THEFACESHOP in Canada (the true cream (moisturizing and aqua) retails for $47) and Sephora in the US (the true cream (moisturizing and aqua) retails for $38).

Thanks for reading! Have a great day!

    1. Exactly! That’s why I was so happy to try these. With my usual oily skin, I’ve been afraid of really moisturizing things. With the dry weather though, I’ve definitely needed something extra!

  1. I purchased a travel pack of a couple of belief products and I love them 😀 I will definitely be picking the full size of the cream up once I’m done with this one. Great review!
