Event Recap: Inglot Aquastic Launch + Swatches

I recently had the privilege to attend a launch event at Inglot. If you’ve never heard of the brand you need to fix that ASAP. I discovered them in 2015 when they first opened up a store in Toronto. I wrote up a blog post at the time (apologies for the shoddy pictures) based on some of their eyeshadows! Definite loves!

The launch event was for their new Aquastic line of creme eyeshadows. I have minimal experience with creme eyeshadows, but I’m in LOVE with metallics so I was excited to check them out!

The event was held instore which is just a makeup lover’s dream. They have colours for days and it provided a really nice atmosphere to try everything out.

The displays for the new Aquastic line were around the room so everyone had a chance to get a really good look. There’s a decent shade range with a very mermaid-esque feel. I love every single one of the shades.

One of the Inglot makeup artists, Blair, did a super pretty look for us. She demonstrated how blendable and pigmented the Aquastic creme shadows were. They were pretty quick to dry as well. Once they did dry down, they definitely wouldn’t budge!

I swatched a couple of the shadows and can I say love? They are so extremely pretty and I love the colour selection on these. They have some pretty neutral shades, but also some bold colours! All the colours with their numbers are below:

After the event, we were lucky to take home one with us! I got #12 which is a pretty bronzey gold. A colour I can definitely integrate into a lot of my looks.

I used #12 as my all over base. It was easy to blend and provided a really nice starting point to build up. For the rest of the shadows I used the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance palette. Super pretty right?

You can find the Aquastic line instore at Inglot for $26 CAD. They’ll be coming to the online store soon!

Thanks so much for reading! Have a great day!

    1. You definitely should check out them out! They have so much to offer and the quality is really good! The next thing on my list is their foundation! I’ve heard it’s so good!

  1. Wow! They are soooo pretty! It brings me memories of one of my first eyeshadows which was a liquid powder type with a metallic finish in a baby blue and baby pink! Oh god! I would love to have shade 12!
