My Highlighter Collection

highlighter collection

Hello friends! This post was a bit spur of the moment, but when inspiration strikes, you take advantage right? Today I’m doing a quick overview of my highlighter collection. Up until Champagne Pop, I wasn’t actually into highlighers. My collection has exploded though, so I thought I would share! Enjoy!

Single Highlighters

Wet n Wild MegaGlo Highlighting Powder in Precious Petals

This is one of my most recent highlighters and it’s LOVE. Pure love. The quality of this rivals my higher end highlighters and it gives the most beautiful glow. You would honestly never guess this retails for around $7 CAD. Your highlighter collection is not complete without this!

Guerlain Meteorites in 02 Clair

As contrast to the supremely inexpensive Wet n Wild highlighter, I have the supremely expensive Guerlain Meteorites ($75 CAD!!). I don’t use this nearly as much as I should. This isn’t really a highlighter per say, but it’s listed as a ‘illuminizing powder’. I received this when I went to CityLine thanks to Dave Lackie. It really does give your skin an ethereal glow but I really don’t know if it’s worth the price. It also has a very strong scent. With this being said, I definitely want to start using this more regularly in my routine!

ColourPop Super Shock Highlighter in Churro

I won this from a fellow beauty blogger, Renee over at See the World in Pink. This is such a cool highlighter as it’s tie die with hints of gold, copper, and peach! This is so buttery it actually feels like a cream product. This comes off a bit dark on my skin tone though, so I actually plan to us this more as an eyeshadow!

Maison Jacynthe Highlighter in 01 Soleil Pétillant

I did a full post on some Maison Jacynthe products over in this here. I got sent this highlighter to try out as well and I’m impressed! It gives a very beautiful golden glow. A huge plus for this is that it snaps in perfectly to a magnetic palette. I don’t think a lot of highlighters are this easy for travel so I definitely appreciate this!

Becca Highlighter in Moonstone and Champagne Pop

Becca highlighters are the pinnacle of highlighters. As mentioned, Champagne Pop was pretty much my first full sized highlighter and I love it. Absolutely love it. I’m sure you’ve heard at verbatim about Champagne Pop, but it’s for good reason. It’s incredible! Moonstone is another very highly touted Becca highlighter. It’s a bit lighter than Champagne Pop, but still has the beautiful consistency and sheen. Both are definitely winners in my book.

Palettes

In terms of Palettes, 3 of them are actually from Becca, and 2 of those have Champagne Pop #noregrets. All three were limited edition to my knowledge. I have the Becca Afterglow and both Jaclyn Hill palettes. I’m a fanatic.

My other highlighter palette is the limited edition Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit. This was the first edition of this palette as I know last Christmas they had the Ambient Lighting Edit Surreal Light.

  1. Love seeing the variety you have – from Wet n Wild and Guerlain Meteorites! 😀 From your collection, I only have the Guerlain Meteorites – I love the subtle glow it provides!

    1. Definitely! I’m so glad that there is a winner at such a cheap price! I feel like highlighters are somewhat limited at the drugstore, so I was happy that Wet n Wild came out with a great product!

  2. I have a mini size of becca’s hihglighters and it’s so smooth and amazing! I have too many highlighters now, anything brand new and pretty..I must avoid!
