Hi there! So winter seems to be FINALLY packing up it’s bags and spring is coming in to stay. Even though you’d think that the driest skin would be in the harshest of climate, my skin has been going a bit haywire. I looked at my legs recently, and was treated with a not so nice sight. My skin has been flaky, especially on my legs, and I needed relief! Lucky for me, I was sent some products from The Green Beaver that specifically cater to dry skin!
There’s a new hair cord company in town! If you’ve never heard of them, hair cords are pretty much the hair elastic killer. They look like a land line phone cord (remember those?) that work so much better than a traditional hair tie. Gummiband is a new hair cord brand and I was sent a very generous supply to try out and give my thoughts!
It’s been no surprise that Wet n Wild has quickly become one of my favourite drugstore brands. The quality is top notch and they seem to introduce new collections similar to that of high end brands. Wet n Wild’s newest collection is Goth-o-Graphic which combines the pastels of spring with the 90’s gothic grunge. I was sent a few pieces in the collection and I thought I would share some thoughts!

Veil Cosmetics was created by Sebastien Tardif, a makeup artist who thought that makeup should enhance and not mask. Veil had a booth set up at IMATS this year and I actually met Sebastien himself. Hi folks! Hard Candy is a pretty new brand to me, but I’ve seen the MASSIVE hype over the years about their Glamoflauge Concealer. I’ve never tried it, but it’s supposed to be amazing! I was lucky enough to try some of their items in the Spring Summer 17 collection and thought I would share my thoughts. Some items are great, and others miss their mark a bit.
A staple brand in the drugstore is Maybelline New York. They carry everything and are well known for their foundation and mascara.
