Review: MyChelle Clear Skin Line

MyChelle Clear Skin

Hi friends! It’s been some time! Coming at you today with a review of a skincare line I’ve been trying out. MyChelle is a relatively new brand to Canada, but I’ve tried a couple things from them that I’ve really liked! (a few items I reviewed can be found here). They have a line specifically for oily/acne prone skin that I’ve been lucky enough to try out!

My Highlighter Collection

highlighter collection

Hello friends! This post was a bit spur of the moment, but when inspiration strikes, you take advantage right? Today I’m doing a quick overview of my highlighter collection. Up until Champagne Pop, I wasn’t actually into highlighers. My collection has exploded though, so I thought I would share! Enjoy!

Event Recap: Inglot Aquastic Launch + Swatches

inglot aquastic

I recently had the privilege to attend a launch event at Inglot. If you’ve never heard of the brand you need to fix that ASAP. I discovered them in 2015 when they first opened up a store in Toronto. I wrote up a blog post at the time (apologies for the shoddy pictures) based on some of their eyeshadows! Definite loves!

The launch event was for their new Aquastic line of creme eyeshadows. I have minimal experience with creme eyeshadows, but I’m in LOVE with metallics so I was excited to check them out!

My Green Beauty Travel Picks

Hello friends! As some of you may know, I’ve been travelling up north for work. During the summer it wasn’t so bad, but during the winter?! Eek. Cold and snowy are an understatement. Even as we (somewhat) move into spring, they keep the hotel so DRY. Dry to the point I actually got a nosebleed and my skin was cracking. I recently received some samples from green beauty brands, and it couldn’t have come at a better time. Most products are moisturizing-focused, so I was able to let out sigh of relief! I have definitely tested these under some harsh conditions and wanted to share!

#NailsOfTheDay: Essence Flower Power

essence nail art

Hello friends! For my final post for Essence week, I have a nail art design with some of the new shades for Spring Summer 2017. For this nail art design I used the Essence Nail Art Duo Stylist dotting tool which I’ve actually had for some time. It’s super easy to create cute little designs, especially flowers!

Empties: When a Foil Packet Makes You Buy the Full Size

Hi friends! At it again with another Empties! I have a lot of foil packets this time around. I want to get a handle on some of my stash, and getting rid of my one-time use products seems like an easy thing. A couple of these foil packets led me to want to purchase the full size! So I guess the sample is doing what it was intended to do!

Versus: Beauty Blender and Real Techniques Sponges

Hello friends! It’s been awhile since I’ve done a Versus post. These are actually some of my favourites to write just because I love to read comparisons too. Anyways, today I’ll be looking at the Beauty Blender and the Real Techniques (RT) Miracle Complexion Sponge. I know this comparison is very popular, but I’ve never actually tried the RT sponge before. I just got into a habit of always buying Beauty Blenders. When I was sent the RT sponge to try, I thought I could finally see if they were comparable! I also have the RT Miracle Mini Eye Erasers that I can add my two cents on (I don’t have the Beauty Blender version to compare these to though).
