Versus: Becca Jaclyn Hill and Chrissy Teigen Palettes

becca jaclyn hill Chrissy Teigen

Becca is such an amazing brand producing some of the best face products in the game. One collab that put this brand on the map is the Jaclyn Hill collection. Champagne Pop to my knowledge is one of the highest sold products at Sephora EVER. That’s so incredible! I think I own literally every single iteration of Champagne Pop other than the split pans. You could say I’m a fan. When Becca announced the Chrissy Teigen collection I was so intrigued. The promo pics I saw looked so pretty, and being the complete makeup psycho I am, I snatched it up! But a question remains. How do the Jaclyn Hill and Chrissy Teigen palettes stack up against each other?

Haul: Sephora VIB Sale (Spring 2017)

sephora VIB sale

It’s that time of year again. The flowers are poking through, the air is a bit warmer, and beauty lovers descend in droves for the Sephora bi-annual sale. The sale just passed, and I was able to pick up a couple of items. I thought I was decently restrained, but I’ll let you be the judge of that!

Review: MyChelle Clear Skin Line

MyChelle Clear Skin

Hi friends! It’s been some time! Coming at you today with a review of a skincare line I’ve been trying out. MyChelle is a relatively new brand to Canada, but I’ve tried a couple things from them that I’ve really liked! (a few items I reviewed can be found here). They have a line specifically for oily/acne prone skin that I’ve been lucky enough to try out!

Event Recap: Inglot Aquastic Launch + Swatches

inglot aquastic

I recently had the privilege to attend a launch event at Inglot. If you’ve never heard of the brand you need to fix that ASAP. I discovered them in 2015 when they first opened up a store in Toronto. I wrote up a blog post at the time (apologies for the shoddy pictures) based on some of their eyeshadows! Definite loves!

The launch event was for their new Aquastic line of creme eyeshadows. I have minimal experience with creme eyeshadows, but I’m in LOVE with metallics so I was excited to check them out!

My Green Beauty Travel Picks

Hello friends! As some of you may know, I’ve been travelling up north for work. During the summer it wasn’t so bad, but during the winter?! Eek. Cold and snowy are an understatement. Even as we (somewhat) move into spring, they keep the hotel so DRY. Dry to the point I actually got a nosebleed and my skin was cracking. I recently received some samples from green beauty brands, and it couldn’t have come at a better time. Most products are moisturizing-focused, so I was able to let out sigh of relief! I have definitely tested these under some harsh conditions and wanted to share!

#NailsOfTheDay: Essence Flower Power

essence nail art

Hello friends! For my final post for Essence week, I have a nail art design with some of the new shades for Spring Summer 2017. For this nail art design I used the Essence Nail Art Duo Stylist dotting tool which I’ve actually had for some time. It’s super easy to create cute little designs, especially flowers!
