Hello hello! 🙂 Hope everyone’s having a great Sunday. A week ago I got to experience Mary Kay’s new Into the Garden collection among some other great items. Two PR events in one week? This is what professionalism must feel like. Anyways, I thought I would do a recap of a super fun event and what you can expect with the new collection.
When first entering the space, it was beautifully decorated to reflect the garden party/ wedding theme. Lots of pastels and soft colours. Around the room, there were mini previews of all of the new Spring 2016 collection. It was definitely made for bloggers as there were little props accompanying each of the products!

The setup screamed spring for sure! After a press presentation on the new products, we were actually able to do a bit of flower arranging. I had never done anything like this, and it was a lot harder than expected! We had some great guidance from Roadside Florists who were able to give us a bit of background on why we were doing certain things and how your arrangement should flow.

All in all it was a fantastic day seeing some blogger friends and learning more about Mary Kay. I haven’t really had the chance to dive deep into the brand before so I thought this was a great opportunity. At the end of the event we were treated to the new Spring 2016 collection to take home.
After playing around with some things from the collection, I can say that I really enjoy the eyeshadows! Extremely buttery and pigmented. They blend very nicely too!
I definitely had a wonderful time at the event and look forward to trying more from the Mary Kay brand!
