Review: Love, BITE Lip Kit

love, bite

As many of you know, BITE is my jam. I LOVE BITE! They recently shared one of my photos on Instagram (I think mistakenly twice) and I died. The photo was of the Love, BITE kit which contains two Multisticks, a Prismatic Pearl Creme Lip Gloss, and a mini mirror. Someone asked for swatches so here we go!

I’ll start off by saying that this set is unfortunately unavailable from Sephora online. You may be able to find this in stores, but the Multisticks and Lip Gloss are available outside this set as well, This set was worth picking up for me just because I don’t have any BITE Multisticks or Lip Glosses.

Gelato – Cashew – Rose Pearl

Since I’ve never tried the Multistick formula, I wasn’t too sure how it would differ from the Amuse Bouche. I noticed that they had a ‘drier’ formula? Not that they’re not creamy (they are actually extremely creamy) I just find they settle a bit different than the Amuse Bouche. In general I really like the Multisticks. I find that they wear off really quickly on the lips, but I really like the look of these on the eyes. They are perfect to add a bit of dimension without an eyeshadow. I find they last a really long time on the eyes too. Another thing I really like is the magnetic closure on the packaging. Nothing’s more satisfying than hearing that ‘click’ of the magnet!

The Prismatic Pearl Creme Lip Gloss is alright. I don’t think you can use this on its own, as the glitter is just a bit too patchy. It looks pretty great on top of lipstick though and that includes these Multisticks. It adds a bit of sheen that really catches the light. The only thing is because I’m lazy, I would only really layer the lipgloss over top if I wanted to do a special makeup look. So if you’re looking for a lip gloss you can wear on its own, this probably isn’t it.

All in all I’m very happy with this set. I got 3 new products that I don’t have in my collection for a decent price. I would keep your eyes out for these sets from BITE as I feel they give you the biggest bang for your buck.

Thanks so much for reading! Hope you have a great day!

    1. Right? I (surprisingly) don’t have a lot of those colours just because I find I gravitate towards pinks. Glad to add this to the collection! 🙂

Thanks for sharing your blog too! I’ll definitely check it out!

  2. I wasn’t sure how the Multistick would work as eyeshadows and was worried that they will crease like mad. I think I’ll give Gelato a try soon, such a pretty shade.

    1. Thanks Steph! Oh I know!! Well same for me, I planned to get this post up sooner so people could actually get the set but I waited too long. D:

  3. Cashew is a pretty shade, and YAS, glad you joined in on the ~featured on BITE’s IG page~ team! 😉
Have you tried the multisticks on the cheeks though?

    1. So pretty right? And THANKS!

I have tried them on my cheeks, but only a couple of times. Similar to the lips I found it faded a bit. I just much prefer powder blushes, versus liquid/cream options.
