Hi friends! Another post coming at you and it’s about the Mary Kay Fall 2017 collection. When this arrived at my doorstep I was instantly in love with the mauves, deep purples and blues. I’ve had a chance to play around with some of the bits and pieces for a bit and I can definitely say I’m smitten!
Mary Kay Lip Suede
First up are the Mary Kay Lip Suedes ($19). The two colours, Rose Blush (a dusty pink) and Mulberry Muse (a slightly purple berry). Both are beautiful and wear really well. They give a good amount of pigmentation, but feel comfortable on the lips. Definitely perfect for everyday! These dry down just a bit to a satin finish. These are definitely two lip products I plan to wear a lot this Fall!
Mary Kay Eye Colour Palette
Next up are the Mary Kay Eye Colour Palettes ($27) . I’m a huge fan of the Mary Kay shadows in these mini palettes just because they’re so easy to store (snap them right into a magnetic palette). In the Fall collection we have Rose Nudes and Simply Smoky. Both contain an amazing array of colours to create the best natural or intense smoky eye. These colours are super buttery and very easy to apply and blend out! I’m a huge fan.
Mary Kay Nail Polish
Last but not least are three colours of Mary Kay Nail Polish ($10). From left to right we have Rose Blush, Violet Silk, and Pink Escape. I love all three of these colours. I think as a trio these also really work beautifully together. I’ve had a lot of success with the formulas of these nail polishes and would recommend. I have Pink Escape on my nails right now and I love it! Pretty much one coat and opaque! As the season starts to get colder, I can definitely see myself using Rose Blush and Violet Silk!
Makeup Look
Here’s a quick and easy look I whipped up with some of the products. On my eyes is the Rose Nudes eye palette (all colours used) and on my lips is Rose Blush. I love how this came out and it gives an amazingly natural finish. Perfect for work or school to add a bit of polish to your look.
I haven’t really been able to find a fault with any item in the collection. If you want to upgrade your makeup for the new season, Mary Kay is definitely where you can turn to!

I find the formulation for these ones in the mini palettes are the best compared to their single shadows in a compact. The magnetic is perfect to add to a z palette or to travel with!! 🙂
The only two that I am interested in are the lip suedes, the others are not as interesting to me.
