Brand Collection: Revlon Full Face

revlon new products

It’s funny that Revlon is actually one of the first makeup brands I tried (my first foundation was a PhotoReady foundation) but I actually haven’t looked into a lot of their recent offerings. I have four products brand new to me that I’ve been integrating in my daily look. I thought I would show you a look I put together along with mini reviews of all the items!

I’ll start off with the base product, Revlon’s ColourStay Combination/Oily foundation in Sand Beige. All in all, very impressed with this foundation. It’s definitely worth the hype. It lasts all day and has really decent coverage. The only thing I would note is that I found it has a pink-ish undertone which doesn’t match me exactly. I’ve noticed this with some other drugstore foundations (leaning towards pink undertones). With this being said, it matches me pretty well and I’ve been wearing this as my everyday foundation for some time now.

Next up with brows, is the Revlon ColourStay Brow Crayon in Black. I’ll definitely use this until it’s finished, but I’ve used better brow products I’d say. The chunky crayon style makes it hard to get a really defined look. I noticed that when applying, the waxy texture wouldn’t go on even and would always need to spooly it out. It did it’s job though and filled in my brows.

One of the items I was most interested in trying was the Revlon PhotoReady Galaxy Dream Highlighting palette. I will always be interested in coloured highlighters! This palette has a pink toned, green toned, orange toned, and blue toned highlighter. From the picture above, you can see that it gives off a really pretty and natural highlight. I layered up different colours to get this effect. The only thing I noticed was that I had to layer on pretty hefty amounts of powder. It’s actually quite a ‘hard’ powder compared to what I’m used to. If you’re looking for a drugstore highlight palette, this is a nice choice!

Finally, last but not least is the Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick Matte in Superstar Brown. I don’t have a lot of browns in my collection just because it just feels so ’90s (in a bad way). I wanted to steer out of my comfort zone thought and wanted to try this one. I’m super impressed! Revlon lipsticks are a staple in anyone’s collection. So affordable for the quality. I’m glad Superstar Brown isn’t too brown, but still has a bit of that vibe.

If you’re looking for a new Revlon products, hopefully I gave you a bit of inspiration!

Thanks so much for reading! Have a great day!
