If you saw my last post, you’ll know that I recently attended the Sephora VIB Rouge Holiday preview party. I think I was pretty restrained, but I wanted to show what I ended up picking up. Funnily enough, only one thing was from the holiday launch and the other two were from badgalriri herself. 😉
Hi everyone! I had the chance to check out some of Sephora’s new Holiday releases at the VIB Rouge Holiday Preview event. I’ll give you an overview of the items and the price points (super important) so you can start your lists!
At Gen Beauty 2017 I got a few minis of the Ciate Liquid Velvet Lipsticks. I know Ciate mostly from nail polishes, but they have been breaking into the makeup world in a BIG way. Have you seen their glitter flips??? They are definitely on my to-buy list! Anyways, I thought I would show you how these liquid velvet lipsticks perform!
Hi folks! I have a quick first impression of the new Kat Von D Glimmer Veils which were recently released online at Sephora. These puppies aren’t in store yet and will be released at Sephora on September 8. At IMATS last weekend (recap and haul can be found here), I managed to get my hands on two of the colours Rocker (described as a copper with gold glimmer) and Razzle (magenta with pink glitter).
Hi friends! Hope everyone is having a great weekend! I had the pleasure of attending the IMATS (International Makeup Artist Trade Show) in Toronto and had a wonderful time as always. This isn’t my first time at IMATS (you can check out my 2015 IMATS post here) so there are some definite tips I can offer up someone thinking of joining in on the fun! I also have a haul of all the items I decided pick up at this year’s show!
Hi folks! Hard Candy is a pretty new brand to me, but I’ve seen the MASSIVE hype over the years about their Glamoflauge Concealer. I’ve never tried it, but it’s supposed to be amazing! I was lucky enough to try some of their items in the Spring Summer 17 collection and thought I would share my thoughts. Some items are great, and others miss their mark a bit.
Hello folks! It’s been a bit but I’m back! Work’s been busy and then I was on vacation (which I hope to have a post up soon about). Anyways, today I have a review of Esqido Mink Lashes and their companion lash glue.
Let me just say my lashes ain’t cute. They are thin, point straight down and don’t hold mascara. A trifecta of terrible proportions. I was excited when Esqido reached out just because false lashes are literally the ONLY way for me to get any definition in my lashes. With this being said though, I’m not an expert at application so I was curious to see how they would work out.
I recently made a couple of purchases at Shoppers Drug Mart and Rexall (Canadian drugstores). I picked up some backups of items and also decided to pick up some things that caught my eye. If you’re looking for some great products at the drugstore, here’s a little roundup!
The one (and only) purchase I made at Gen Beauty this year was this Luxie x Wonder Woman face brush kit. It was love at first sight for sure. Before the convention, I took a look at Luxie’s website and this brush set definitely caught my eye. After seeing the Wonder Woman movie in theaters, I have just been Wonder Woman obsessed. I want to grab some of the comics to really learn more about the lore.
Anyways, as mentioned in my Gen Beauty 2017 Toronto Recap, these were actually the only brushes that Luxie was selling. I guess it was lucky for me because I ended up taking it home!
