Valentine’s Day is almost upon us. I feel like I either heard a dismayed sigh or an excited squeal. I would say I react with a combination of both. Even when I wasn’t in a relationship, I always enjoyed Valentine’s Day. Everyone seems so happy and caring and there’s chocolates. Tasty, tasty chocolate. How can you fault a holiday that encourages you to eat candy? But then of course there is SO much marketing about love and mushy gushy, which ends up getting a bit much.

Hi there! Let me start of by saying that Wet n Wild is a brand that holds some significance in my beauty world. Specifically I have two memorable and distinct experiences with them. My first memory is from when I was in middle school and didn’t wear a speck of makeup. I was into painting my nails at this point though, and I had a THING for a Wet n Wild black nail polish. I guess it was my goth phase or something? It was probably the most I’ve ever gotten out of a nail polish before!

My second story is a bit more recent. After discovering the love that is the Wet n Wild Mega Last lipsticks which you can read about here, I realized that I needed a lip liner for them. So where do I go? I go to MAC to buy a lip liner that is probably triple the price. Only I would love a drugstore lipstick so much that I insist on buying a lip liner to enhance it. I can’t explain it either folks.

Anyways, last week I had the pleasure of attending the Wet n Wild 2016 Spring preview and thought I would give you the lowdown on some of their new things and the overall event!

I want to assume that the products included in this kit are the same as their regular lip and cheek tints. I’ve been curious about Nudestix for awhile and if you are too, hopefully I can provide some insight.

My First (Real) Experience with Lush

I recently won a gift pack from a Canadian Beauty Blogger Twitter chat from Lush! I was so happy and excited just because I really haven’t used much from the brand. What seems like ages ago (junior high) I was gifted a bar soap from Lush. Other than that I hadn’t really tried much. Lush has all of these awesome gift sets, and I was sent the Golden Wonder set. I couldn’t have picked a better one! I love everything!
